28 September 2001 - A new online service that allows Jewish people to get
back in touch with long lost friends and family has been launched by
jewish.co.uk, the UK's leading independent Jewish Web site.

JewishReunion (www.jewishreunion.co.uk) replaces jewish.co.uk's popular
People Finder that was established in 1997. The new JewishReunion offers a
whole host of enhanced features and services that allow users to include
their own information and update it themselves as often as they like.

Using proprietary technology and a customised database, JewishReunion allows
people to enter as much detail as they like and to create their own personal
profile based on groups and associations they belong to or attended. Being a
dedicated UK and Ireland service, the focus is on UK and Ireland Jewish
connections.

Users can choose from a whole host of UK synagogues, schools, youth clubs,
charitable organisations and other guilds and societies. Plus they can also
post messages giving details of who they are and who they are looking for.

"The original People Finder that has helped many people regain contact with
