Futuristic Flying CD-EP Available Through VBZ.NET; Selected Tracks Available for Download

"Pale Shadows ", the new six-track CD-EP of light rock-adult contemporary songs by ASCAP singer-songwriter-producer Wil Hinkson on the OKM label, is now for sale online through The Virtual BaZaar at http://www.vbz.net/hinkson. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, money orders, and U.S. checks are all accepted.

Nick Staddon, owner of Red House Media in Athens, GA, says "we are always delighted to be able to assist any artist in their pursuit of creative achievement and recognition. This CD, independently conceived and produced, is very much in that tradition." The disc's thought-provoking lyric reflections on humanity's pending entry into outer space and the human condition should be a good send-off for the new millennium. The Virtual BaZaar is one of several projects created and maintained by Red House Media.

Trade press calls the title song "beautiful". The symbolism and futuristic flying figures artwork on the CD cover was partly inspired by the spacecraft DISCOVERY and one of the last paintings by Vincent Van Gogh. The OKM web site has links to online art galleries where the painting WHEATFIELDS WITH CROWS can be viewed and wondered at, or, as Wil says, "to ponder on the yonder."

The title track of the same name from " Pale Shadows" spent three ear-tested years on radio play lists in Spain as a CD Single and has been re-mixed and released in the U.S. in conjunction with a touring one-man dramatic comedy stage play based on a true story and starring comedian Carl Ray in San Jose, CA. Three tracks from the CD, in addition to a bonus track not on the CD, are now also available for secure digital download via Liquid Audio Inc. (http://www.liquidaudio.com) Initially all three commercial downloads and the bonus track will be available to music fans in the U.S through participating Web sites in the Liquid Music Network. Liquid Audio Minister of Culture Chi McClean says the CD "sounds great."

OKM will also make available for secure digital download through Liquid Audio a new track celebrating the end of the year 2000. Entitled "2000 DRAGONS," the track will initially be available in the UK and then immediately thereafter in the U.S. and other countries.
