Cynthia Mattison Signs 5-Year Publishing Agreement with Odyssey Publications
January 17, 2001 -- In an official announcement made on Wednesday, January 17, 2001, Cynthia Mattison confirmed that she has just signed a 5-year publishing agreement with Odyssey Publications, a division of Collector's Universe, Inc. Mattison's next book, tentatively entitled "Addresses of the Rich and Famous," will be released later this year.
"We're pleased to be entering into a publishing arrangement with Cynthia," comments Bill Miller, President of Odyssey Publications. "We hope that 'Addresses of the Rich and Famous' will be the first of a number of books she'll do with us. Cynthia brings knowledge and creativity to our book division and she's written for our magazines so we know that we're compatible," Miller adds.
Mattison, 23, is already experienced in the world of publishing. In the year 2000, she authored two books, both of which quickly climbed the ranks at major online bookstores. "I approached Odyssey Publications several months ago about an idea for my next book," Mattison recalls. "I am very happy to have the support of such wonderful people and I look forward to this new endeavor."
Cynthia Mattison has 5 years of experience in the publishing world. She currently serves as Contributing Editor for Autograph Collector Magazine and her work has been published in other high-profile magazines, including Inside NASCAR, Beckett Sports Collectibles & Autographs, Tuff Stuff's RPM Racing, Die Cast Digest, etc. In addition to her print work, Mattison is the resident collectibles expert for America Online (keyword: ADNASCAR). She is also a nominated member of NAFE (National Association of Female Executives).
