The site has been created by skiddle.com, a team run by 3 partners – Ben Sebborn, Ruth Davies and Richard Dyer – all local students. Since being set-up last September, the partners have successfully recruited 25 student reporters, many on Journalism courses at the University of Central Lancashire. Not only does the site provide an excellent opportunity for work experience, but also creates a project that students can build a truly successful business from.
