30 Year old Accounting Firm in Charlotte, NC announces they are launching a Private Client Group. This is a very unique service for the accounting industry. The firm is preparing for the changing business environment by packaging tax management, investment management, and risk management services together in a single service offering. The service will be delivered by a team of CPA's and CFP's.

Shareholders at Hough Rowell and Short CPAs, a leading tax and accounting firm in North Carolina for over 30 years, announced they launched a new service called the Private Client Group. The firm serves over 750 businesses and nearly 1000 individual clients.

The Private Client Group will offer clients sophisticated tax and financial planning consulting. Clients will have both a CPA and a Certified Financial Planning Professional working together to design tax and investment strategies. The firm will also be able to deliver the implementation of their tax and investment strategies completely in house.

The firm believes that by coordinating the efforts of their CPAs and financial professionals they can deliver exceptional value to their clients. The shareholders formed Centermark Professional Services, which is a separate company to facilitate the flexibility needed to start the Private Client Group. Centermark Professional Services will also handle the tax planning and preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping services for Hough Rowell and Short CPAs. The firms auditing services will be delivered by the Hough Rowell and Short company. By moving the different services into separate but affilaited companies the shareholders gain greater flexibility in the services they can offer.

The CPAs and staff will continue to serve the clients and both business will now reside in the current Charlotte, NC office location.Centermark Professional Services will continue to expand its services into areas that benefit affluent clients and small and mid sized businesses and their owners.
