BONKERS BANTER WITH BAD BALDY BANISHES BOREDOM NEW INTERACTIVE RADIO SHOW ON CN SOHO LIVE SET TO END BOREDOM AT WORK ON MONDAY AFTERNOONS

Monday afternoons will never be quite the same again, as CN Soho Live – Total Dance Radio (www.cnsoholive.co.uk) launches a new weekly interactive radio show, co-presented by former London gangster and all-round tasty geezer Dave Courtney and former stock-broker and self-confessed addict of wine, women and partying, Piers Hernu (editor of Front magazine). Using e-mail, telephone and SMS, listeners will have total interaction with both presenters and guests, plus the added option of watching the show on a web-cam they can control and take pictures with.

‘Up Front With Dave Courtney will be broadcast live between 14:00-16:00 hours (B.S.T.) every Monday, starting from 15th October. The feature-led show is probably best described as a radio version of This Morning combined with the Benny Hill Show and a World Wrestling Federation Smackdown. Planned features include phone-ins and wind-up calls, competitions, weird news from around the world, messages to friends and family from incumbents at HMP resorts around the country, and interviews with people that Piers has stumbled across during the course of his previous working week. Dave will also be introducing people he works with in ‘Meet the Boys, dispensing handy household hints, ‘bigging-up his ‘Hero of the Week and will close the show in a true Jerry Springer stylee with his ‘Thought of the Day.

International DJ, Daniela Montanna will be spinning the best in US house & garage, rare groove & soul, drum & bass and r&b – plus teaching Dave how to DJ. There will also be guest appearances from other DJs including Daves son Beau, and the likes of Fabio & Grooverider and Brandon Block. Listeners using the viewer controlled web-cam will be able to watch step-by-step lessons in pole-dancing and appearances from all manner of oddities including sword swallowers, contortionists and a guest tea-lady (or man) of the week.

Each show will feature a mixture of guests, including relatively unknown people from all walks of life who have interesting pastimes or interesting tales to tell, along with more unusual guests such as the first ever Milky Bar Kid and the person who played Uncle Bulgaria in the Wombles. There will also be appearances from celebrity guests including Jordan, Samantha Janus, Cleo Rocco, Kelly Brook, Jo Guest, ‘Nasty Nick Bateman, Nick Moran, Terry Turbo, Caeser the Geezer, Garry Bushell, Howard Marks and Mark Morrison.
