Care2Learn.com, a leading online continuing education provider for healthcare professionals working in long-term care facilities, announces today that their extensive long-term care curriculum will be offered through HealthStreams (NASDAQ: HSTM) national network of healthcare organizations. HealthStream, a leading provider of learning solutions for the healthcare industry, will offer 758 hours of accredited courseware from Care2Learn to enhance its e-learning service offered to the 2.5 million healthcare professionals working in the long-term care segment of the healthcare industry.

The addition of Care2Learns courseware further supports our strategy to offer premier e-learning solutions to long-term care facilities. Their range of disciplines and superb quality of content made Care2Learn an ideal partner for HealthStream," said Michael Pote, senior vice president, HealthStream.

The agreement with HealthStream calls for a comprehensive introduction of Care2Learns substantial curriculum—with tentative plans for the first phase of 758 hours to be available on HealthStreams ASP-based Healthcare Learning Center by the first quarter, 2002. An additional 300 hours of online training will be introduced as they are produced by Care2Learn. The first phase of the accredited long-term care curriculum is currently comprised of 13 disciplines—including Nursing Home Administrator, Registered Dietitian, Physical Therapy, and Certified Disability Management Specialists, among others.

I am proud of the top-rate online curriculum that Care2Learn has developed for healthcare professionals. To reach those healthcare professionals, however, HealthStreams growing national network of over 20% of healthcare organizations is our distribution solution. Partnering with HealthStream, we now have instant, national deployment of our curriculum," said Laura More, Partner, Care2Learn.
