HEDIC (The Healthcare EDI Coalition) and The data Corporation (TdC), today announced the signing of a groundbreaking agreement to provide HEDIC members with the services of The Electronic Network Information eXchange (Tenix).
Tenix is the first, low-cost IP based peer-to-peer file and message delivery system, designed to meet the robust security and data tracking needs of the Healthcare community. Tenix dramatically reduces the cost and complexity of implementing and managing secure, HIPAA compliant electronic communications. It is estimated that healthcare organizations can slash their communication overhead by as much as 70%, with immediate cost savings that are a necessity in todays economic climate.
HEDIC Executive Director Garren Hagemeier says, We are excited to have an Internet-delivered, simple to implement communications solution to meet the HIPAA security needs of our members and reduce EDI costs for supply and financial transactions. We look forward to working with The data Corporation in providing these critical, cost-saving E*Business communication capabilities to our members and to developing additional ways for our members to reduce their costs with TdCs Internet-delivered products and services".
Tenixs dramatic savings, together with the scalability and simplicity of implementation, lead the way in Business-to-Business communication. Tenix secure connections and communications software is delivered and implemented via the Internet. Unlimited data is moved efficiently and securely at a fixed low monthly cost. Batch processing and Real-Time communication using push technology, file re-queuing and other critical data exchange needs are all part of the robust Tenix framework. Immediate delivery notification ensures the complete traceability and receipt of data, with disaster recovery a non-issue, as Business Partner profiles are stored both locally and in distributed Tenix data centres.
Industry leaders in Automotive, Healthcare, Government, Finance and Retail are already realizing the instant benefits from implementing Tenix, by gaining complete control over their Business communications while automating the entire data exchange process.
CEO of The data Corporation Lawrence Lehoux says; HEDIC was one of the first non-profit business associations with the vision and foresight to realize the enormous benefits for its members. We are keenly aware of the high costs associated with current business communications, and have designed Tenix to dramatically reduce COSTS, while allowing the highly secured exchange of unlimited amounts of data, in complete privacy.
