500 1963 Girl-a-Week & Joke-a-Day Calendars -- Good for 2002 -- Donated to U.S. Special Forces Fighting for Freedom

President Bush says we should get on with our lives. The Mayor of New York says it's okay to laugh. We say let the cheesecake calendar of 1963 that features "Joke-a-Day" lead the way.

"WHAT? A 1963 calendar for 2002?... You must be kidding!" No, not really. It so happens that these once hailed "World's First" calendars have been sitting in a warehouse since 1963 due to a missed printing deadline. We have been laughing at ourselves for 38 years. But, because the dates in 2002 match up exactly with 1963, they are now a HISTORY-REPEATS-ITSELF RARITY!

Better still, they are the SYMBOL OF FREEDOM AND OPPORTUNITY, AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE AND INNOVATION. In general, all the models in this calendar are sensuous in a rather innocent way that today's pinups seem to be missing. This calendar has 52 frameable cheesecake photos, one for each week, 333% more photos than other pinups. They are tastefully done by master photographers like Russ Meyer and Tom Kelly (who discovered Marilyn Monroe) with a star-studded cast. It includes (3) Jayne Mansfield which alone may excite conversation, even envy. It also has 365 different jokes, one for each day to start your day with humor. To poke fun of Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot as "bombshells," authentic photos of atomic bomb explosion from the then Atomic Energy Commission were superimposed over their photos. But, in a rush without pulling proofs, the special effects turned out to be imperfect and the publisher almost stopped the press when realizing that this might have elevated the calendar to the status of a rare stamp. Someday to be traded and treasured. Perhaps on the "Antiques Roadshow."

"Can this calendar be reprinted?" No, can't, not even by Bill Gates.

"Has it been appraised?" You bet. "By whom?" By Hake's Americana & Collectibles, who even bought it from us outright for $75 then auctioned it for $95. Following suit, we auctioned it ourselves at eBay, Yahoo, etc. for $100 to $110. In the words of Studs Terkel, Pulitzer-Prize winner, this calendar "should belong in my book, AMERICAN DREAMS: LOST AND FOUND."

Now, even better news: This calendar is ON SALE (at http://www.goodtimepublishing.net & yahoo.com/goodtimecalendars & G.T. Publishing, PO Box 044, Chicago, IL 60614-4044)at 75% DISCOUNT, only $24.95. WHY? To share this vintage Americana with not only collectors but also fun and art lovers the world over, BECAUSE IT'S SO TIMELY that, with the spirit of "Joke-a-Day," together we may laugh our way out of the economic slowdown as well as acts of terrorism!

500 copies of it will be sent to our Special Forces fighting terrorism in Afghanistan. One is reserved for Osama Bin Laden in case he voluntarily surrenders.
