Personal Best Karate, headquartered in Easton, Norton and Foxboro, MA, raised over $10,100 in a recent Turkey Track Run" road race held on October 27th. All proceeds will be put toward the annual Personal Best Karate Turkey Brigade" this Thanksgiving to feed the communitys hungry.

Personal Best Karate, headquartered in Easton, Norton and Foxboro, MA, raised over $10,100 in a recent Turkey Track Run" road race held on October 27th. All proceeds will be put toward the annual Personal Best Karate Turkey Brigade" this Thanksgiving to feed the communitys hungry.

Feeding the Hungry
Students of Personal Best Karate, their parents and community members generously donated their time and energy to participate in the recent Turkey Track Run" held on October 27th at the Borderland State Park in Easton, MA to raise money for the hungry.

190 race participants, ranging in age from 3 to 70 years old, raised $10,100 through pledges to be put toward the annual Turkey Brigade, which will provide more than 500 Thanksgiving baskets with all the Thanksgiving dinner fixings to community members in need of a helping hand.

In addition to sponsoring the road race, students and teachers of Personal Best Karate take upon themselves to shop for and deliver turkey dinners to needy families.

All Ages Get Involved
The Turkey Track Run" race included an adult 2.7-mile run as well as a 1-mile run/walk. Children participated in the 100-yard Ranger Run" or the 50-yard Dragon Dash".

It was a great day. Not only were our students and families excited about racing and pledging to help those in need--there were many, many folks in the community that supported our efforts by pledging. Our Turkey Track Run is a significant fundraiser for the annual Turkey Brigade and it was a terrific turnout," noted Fourth Degree Black Belt and two time World Champion and founder of Personal Best Karate, Christopher Rappold.
