SEE BOY BAND FIVE 'ROCK THE PARTY ONE LAST TIME...'ROCK THE PARTY ONE LAST TIME...

Swedish animation studio Filmtecknarna F. Animation in collaboration with Nexus Productions Limited, has just delivered boy-band FIVEs video finale, to be premiered on Saturday November 10th. This animated masterpiece accompanies their farewell single 'Rock the Party re-creating Ritchie, J, Abs, Sean and Scott, as they have never been seen before.

Filmtecknarnas director, Jonas Odell recreated Five by developing each individuals characteristics and mannerisms, making them easily recognisable in their new form. Odell has created a retro style cartoon using vibrant colours and slick editing, picking up on the prominent sampling of Frankie Vallis title track from the 70s classic 'Grease within the Five track. The characters in 'Rock the Party are 2D set against a 3D background although the fluid camera work gives the whole piece a 3D look.

Weve created a world that is graphically stylised and works in 3D. There is a real comedy element with an energetic feeling, which works well with the up-tempo track. because they had been impressed by the outstanding work that Jonas Odell had completed on previous projects and wanted a similar style and theme to feature throughout the FIVE video.
