WOMAN OF THE YEAR LAUNCHES OPTIMIZING AMERICA CAMPAIGN

Move over Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Optimal Thinking programs throughout America are replacing the think positive" motto that has been with us for decades. Created by Dr. Rosalene Glickman, recipient of the "Woman of the Year" award for National Business Women's Week in Hollywood, Optimal Thinking provides the mental technology to be our best and make the most of every situation. Glickmans concern about the faltering economy and the anxiety generated by the tragic events of September 11 has motivated her to launch the Optimizing America" campaign. In a recent interview, Glickman said: After sixteen years of research, I concluded that positive thinking is dangerous and often no more than wishful thinking. Optimal Thinking is not optimism - it is optimal realism. Times are tough. Talented executives are losing jobs, and many people are ill equipped to handle our new harsh reality. Being good or even great is no longer enough. Its time to be our best.

Being good or even great is no longer enough. Its time to be our best.

Every time we think suboptimally, it costs us time, energy, joy and money. With Optimal Thinking, we embrace our vulnerability, and ask the best questions to obtain the best answers. We do more than manage our time and resources -- we optimize them! Optimal Thinking empowers us to consistently make the best choices, and take the best actions to achieve what is most important. Exactly what is needed in America today."

Glickman is presenting a series of public seminars in Los Angeles and teleconferences nationwide from November 16 until December 19 to launch the Optimizing America" campaign. She is the president of The World Academy of Personal Development Inc., a training and consulting firm in Beverly Hills, California. Glickman has provided training and consultation for numerous individuals and organizations including Warner Bros., Mercedes-Benz, Citigroup, Mensa, California State University, Fullerton (Department of Management), Fifth International Conference on Thinking, and American Business Women's Association. She was nominated for special recognition by Queen Elizabeth II as a result of Optimal Thinking. She earned a Ph.D. in psychology, a diploma in teaching and a degree in business administration.

Glickman is currently available for media interviews. For more information, call Anne West at (310) 557-2761 or visit the multi award-winning website, http://www.optimalthinking.com
