WORLD SPIRIT IN ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS EFFORT

Twelve unique songwriters from various countries contributed original, diverse works for the new Christmas CD, "AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT", released on Goodnight Kiss Records this season. Found at the GoodnightKiss.com site(as well as at amazon.com), the offering showcases musical styles including jazz, pop, rock, country, choral, singer-songwriter.

"AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT" was begun as a simple song call for a movie pitch by music publisher, Janet Fisher. A self-admitted Christmas Carol junkie, Ms. Fisher found enough delightful and original songs over her two year quest to be inspired to bring forth a CD version for others to hear.

"AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT" is a two-year effort of unique, hand-picked songs for Christmas. Songs like "Celebrate the Season" and "Soldier Daddy" will have special meaning on the CD.

"These songs are too great NOT to be heard," says Fisher, sincerely. "There are so many wonderful writers and artists that we don't get to experience (as listeners) unless we actively look for them. Here are a dozen that have something wonderful to say, and say it in a wonderful way."

The writers, some more known than others, hail from places such as Australia, England, Ireland, United States, and Sweden. They are all ages and their music is mixed styles, though all are recorded professionally, and the collection makes a great addition to a Christmas music enthusiast.

"Besides," states Fisher,"I personally believe one could not locate a more wonderful and lasting treasure than great songs like these -- and we set the lowest price we could, at $14.95, so all might have the chance to hear them."
