WDND to Offer 802.11a Wireless Network Installations

Washington, DC: WDND Inc., a regional Network and Internet Service Provider announced today that they have the technology to create 802.11a wireless networking products. This new offering will allow companies and individuals to connect to the Internet and corporate networks five times faster than with previous wireless products.

The wireless local area network (LAN) market is expected to grow to $5 billion by 2005 according to some estimates.* The 802.11a standard is a much faster, more robust technology for exchanging data between computing devices and networks.

WDND will also offer an optional, dual-mode expansion kit enabling the new access point to support networks using products based on 802.11a and the IEEE 802.11b standard.
