Elaine S. Buffington, CPA, and Alice M. Hoatland, CPA, principals at Fagliarone Group CPAs, PC attended a conference on Fall Empire Zones sponsored by New Yorks Empire State Development office and the Empire Zones Program. The conference was held in Alexandria Bay on October 16 and 17, 2001.

   The Fall Empire Zones Conference provided attendees with the latest information on the state budget, zone designations and boundary revisions, changes in the Empire Zones law, Empire State Developments marketing initiatives and business development strategies of individual zones throughout the state.

   Buffington and Hoatland from Fagliarone Group CPAs attended the conference to expand their expertise on laws and boundary designations for the firms more than 40 clients currently located within Empire Zones across Upstate New York.
