"Hotel Freedonia" to be launched at the Online Information 2001 Conference.
Cleveland, OH, USA, November 9, 2001 -- The Freedonia Group, Inc., a leading industry market research firm, is launching its newest on-line product: Hotel Freedonia" at the Online Information 2001 conference in London December 4th -- 6th.
This new Web-based product is co-branded and customized for each corporate client to provide unlimited access for its employees to the Freedonia studies owned by the organization. As a result, Hotel Freedonia enables the client corporation to share Freedonia Group industry intelligence with colleagues worldwide. The Hotel Freedonia" Web site is made available to a client companys employees via an exclusive link through the clients corporate intranet. Hotel Freedonia is maintained and updated by The Freedonia Group, is simple to implement, and from the clients perspective is virtually maintenance free thereby making it easy for client IT organizations to support.
At Hotel Freedonia, employees of a Freedonia client may search all Freedonia content by free text searches or browsing study titles by industry sector. If desired a user may limit the search results to content already owned by his or her employer -- thereby retrieving only free content. Study searches can be conducted at multiple levels including Study Title, Table of Contents and Full Text with Boolean logic supported in the latter two cases.
Studies that the corporate client owns are clearly designated by a special icon. These studies are immediately available for free viewing in either HTML or a fully book marked PDF format.
For studies not owned by the client corporation, the user can purchase individual pages, charts, graphs, chapters or the full study. Items purchased by an individual are housed in My Hotel Freedonia" and are available on an ongoing basis. An individual may also request that the study be added to the main Hotel" thus making the study available to all other employees worldwide.
