TutorEd announces new commission free service connecting tutors and school age pupils
An Internet based service to allow UK students to find tutors in their area. It offers tutors a commission free service - compared to the 20% charged by some agencies. The service is free to students and their parents.
West Midlands-based TutorEd today launched a revolutionary new service aimed at tutors, students and parents throughout the UK.
TutorEd is a modern, fast and secure solution to finding a suitable tutor for each student. Students or their parents can contact one or more local, experienced tutors to help them with their education.
Richard Rothwell, TutorEd's founder, said: "I was stunned when I looked into getting part-time work as a tutor. I found that the tutoring agencies are asking for 20% or more in commission".
TutorEd uses the Internet to allow tutors to register with the service free. Once they have registered, students and their parents can contact them to discuss needs. Privacy is maintained at all stages of this process.
The service uses the Internet sales method of try-before-you-buy. The tutors are listed for free and only pay if, after six months, they believe that the service is worthwhile for them. This flat-rate advertising method makes the service excellent value for both tutors and students.
TutorEd aims to be the main gateway for students to find that extra tutoring they need before the end of 2002. Rather than looking in the local newsagent's window, students or their parents will visit www.tutored.co.uk.
