11th ANNUAL MASTERS OF PEDIATRICS CME CONFERENCE EXPLORES CONTEMPORARY AND FUTURE PEDIATRICS, PEDIATRIC DERMATOLOGY, PEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY AND ALLERGY
University of Miami School of Medicine sponsors continuing medical education conference focusing on children's health care today and tomorrow on the beautiful Miami Beach setting, January 16-21, 2002. Keynote address by Donna E. Shalala, Ph.D., President of the University of Miami and former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services. Guest faculty include James A. Stockman III, M.D., President of the American Board of Pediatrics, and William F. Balistreri, M.D., Editor of the Journal of Pediatrics, among others.
The 11th year of the annual Masters of Pediatrics conferences will address the health care needs of children around the world by covering a variety of topics from experts and researchers in all pediatric fields.
The conference will explore topics in general pediatrics, pediatric dermatology, and pediatric pulmonology and allergy. An outstanding guest faculty made up of internationally renowned speakers and University of Miami Medical School faculty will participate. Explore contemporary and future pediatrics with renowned Masters of Pediatrics (Ellen Wald, William Balistreri, James Stockman, Judith Hall, David Allen, Bernice Krafchik, and Stanley Szefler as just part of our large, outstanding faculty) with special emphasis on infectious disease and dermatological, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and genetic diseases, as well as behavioral care and nutrition. This year's keynote address, entitled "Children's Health Care 2002 and Beyond," will be delivered by Donna E. Shalala, Ph.D., President of the University of Miami and former Secretary of Health and Human Services.
