Bible America!", the public reading of the entire Bible read consecutively in each state of the nation, by pastors, leaders, students and families, will launch forward in California, July 4th, 2002. It will conclude at the Nations Capital July 4, 2003.

HARBOR CITY, CA    Bible America!", the public reading of the entire Bible read consecutively in each state of the nation, by pastors, leaders, students and families, will launch forward in California, July 4th, 2002 right after the 1st annual Bible America!" conference July 1-3, 2001 in Southern California. The reading will conclude July 4, 2003 at the Nations Capital following the 2nd annual conference July 1-3, 2003 in Washington, D.C.

Bible America!" has been in the planning stage for 2 years. It launches forward as a Body of Christ and family focused event toward those who are not saved. Estimated to take 3 days with approximately 1500-2000 people in each state to be readers, Christians will have the opportunity to pre-register as a participant to read over 23,000 verses, which will occur in a public, visible location. Reading will take place in front of a 15-foot red cross. Intercessory prayer will be on going in front of a 12-foot cross and a 9-foot blue cross will host the reading of the Psalms, Proverbs and the Gospels by children under 13. Governors, Mayors, Congressmen, City Council Members, and others who hold a public office will receive an invitation to be amongst first to open the Bible reading in their state along with Bishops and Pastors.

William & Selena Owens, authors of several books including, Divine Protocol -- Gods Official Order that is Correct in the Dealings of His Kingdom" and Helpmeet -- The Power A wife Has to Give Her Husband Help", received the inspiration for this revival-oriented vision in 1999. Married for 16 years and along with their 4 children, they will take to the highway to blaze a message of Revival America!" Its core theme is, Gods people taking the gospel to America with a boldness and aggression for those who are not saved". William states, This is not an entertainment event for Christians; rather, he affirms, This prophetic act is seed for revival that our nation so desperately needs." The Owens family attends West Angeles Church of God In Christ, in Los Angeles, CA where Bishop Charles Blake is pastor.

Though the Owens family will be the first family to represent this annual reading from state to state, they have organized Bible America!" to be taken ownership of by churches, organizations and individuals alike. Higher Standard Publishers will publish the book for Bible America!" entitled, The Bible & America!" Scheduled for a release date in July 2002, this is a compilation of essays written and submitted by those who believe the Bible is relevant for our nation. Included are stories of Gods faithfulness, endurance, salvation and other Bible & America centered topics. Christians are encouraged to submit an essay to be reviewed for inclusion in this book to essay@bibleamerica.org.

The national 8-page newspaper for Bible America"! debuts in February 2002. Along with relevant news about the event and issues related to church leadership and America, it will highlight 12 businesses and 12 churches from and for each state that will share their heart about the Bible and America!" Both businesses and churches will give a donation to be included in this national paper.
