GENTIAE Clinical Research Selects eResearchTechnologys eResearch Network Application Suite: eRT Platform to Provide Technology Foundation for Cardiovascular CRO
GENTIAE is the first Clinical Research Organization that will deploy eResearch Technology's eResNet Accelerator program. eRT's eResearch Network is a clinical research solution is a hosted application that enables CRO's, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device company's to connec their organizations's sites and sponsors (of clinical studies) which helps streamline the clinical trials process.

(eRT) (NASDAQ: ERES), a leading e-research technology and services provider, today announced that GENTIAE Clinical Research has selected eRTs eResearch Network solution to provide an end-to-end platform for clinical research, including electronic data capture (EDC).
GENTIAE Clinical Research, based in San Francisco, is the for-profit subsidiary of the Ischemia Research & Education Foundation (the Foundation"). More than 60 professional researchers staff the recently established CRO, including 24 M.D.s, Ph.D.s, and R.N.s. Areas of expertise include clinical trial design and project management, biostatistics and data management, and cardiovascular core laboratory services. GENTIAE draws on the domain expertise of the Foundation, which was founded in 1987 to conduct studies addressing the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. To date, employees of the Foundation and the affiliated members of the Multicenter Study of Perioperative Ischemia (McSPI) Research Group have published more than 125 articles in such peer-reviewed medical journals as the Journal of the American Medical Association, Circulation, and the New England Journal of Medicine.
