Top pop rock purveyors LaMotta relaunch website and announce forthcoming dates
London, December 14th, 2001 LaMotta, that most powerful of rock pop bands touring these isles today, has had a historical year. The final month of 2001 sees them relaunch their website, www.lamottamusic.com. An oracle of all things concerning the band, www.lamottamusic.com still has biography information, the latest LaMotta news and access to LaMotta merchandise. The newest feature is the download area, with four brand new tracks to download and own to for free; LaMotta intends to keep this part of the site replenished regularly with fresh tracks to be added early in 2002. The songs also feature on their eponoymously titled EP, as recently recorded at the Magic Garden in Wolverhampton, produced by Gavin Monaghan.
Following a much needed rest over Christmas and New Year, the band will play The Barfly in Camden on January 5th, 2002. Their trademark sound, pounding yet melodic vocals, harmonious hooks and driving percussion will lend itself fantastically well to the new songs that the band will showcase on January 5th. The set will also include the LaMotta tunes that have seduced so many fans in the past.
