"Hoppi Wakes Up!" is a 16 page E-storybook that tells the story of a robot pet looking for its owner in outer space. Keeping with the websites tradition of using cutting edge web3d technologies to tell story and entertain this new E-book features real time 3d illustrations of the characters and places visited within the story. Hoppi and the other characters are 3d models embedded within the single Acrobat .pdf document. (www.adobe.com ). When viewed with the Cult3d plug-in for Adobe Acrobat (www.cult3d.com) and the Cult3D viewer many of the 2d full color illustrations in the book will "change" into 3D models that can be manipulated and viewed from any angle by the reader and child.

While the technology to do this type of E-book has been available for some months, this is the first time a childrens book has utilized real-time 3D animation within its presentation.
