New Email Service Offers Pat On the Back In Troubled Times
Clearwater, FL -- December 28, 2001 -- RazorWind Ventures
announces the launch of their new Internet email service,
'email from Bob'. 'Bob' is actually a computer program that generates
personalized email messages using artificial intelligence to mimic
a real person.
Users visit the web site (www.emailfromBob.com) and enter their
email address and some personal details, like their favorite TV show
and their boss's nickname. 'Bob' then generates and emails the user
a new message every week. The email contains a pat on the back,
what 'Bob' is up to, and reassurance that everything will be okay.
- got the idea while reading the comic strip Dilbert," said Rich Whittle,
president of RazorWind Ventures. "The character Alice was yelling at
another character that she hadn't got her daily validation," he recalls.
"A light bulb went off and I thought there's thousands of people just like
Alice. People who work in companies big and small and never get a pat
on the back."
- he developed 'Bob', a software program that personalizes each email.
"The personalization is the key, it makes the message seem to
come from a real person," he said.
- these tough times, with terrorism, recession and rising unemployment,
an email from 'Bob' is a simple pleasure in your inbox.
