VAL-PAK LAUNCHES WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE" PROMOTION
Largo, Fla.- Val-Pak offers consumers a new chance to win instantly this spring in the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" promotion. Val-Pak, the signature product of Cox Target Media (CTM), will offer consumers the official, full computer game version of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" television show for free- paying only $4.95, the cost of shipping and handling. Val-Pak will also offer randomly inserted $120 checks in one of every 50,000 familiar blue envelopes. The check amount represents a millionaires paycheck for 15 minutes worth of work. The specially marked envelopes will be mailed March 12 -- April 27, 2001 throughout the U.S.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" logo will be displayed on the back of the envelope. Also, most envelopes will display an insert depicting the TV shows well-known host Regis Philbin and the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" logo will be prominently displayed through the envelope window.
Val-Pak has teamed with Boca Raton promotional company FreeSoft Promotions to make the promotion a success. FreeSoft, which owns the rights to the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" game, is providing the free copies of the software and handling fulfillment and database management. FreeSoft will capture participants names in a database that will furnish Val-Pak with the names and addresses of the contest participants.
Val-Pak just completed a years worth of highly successful hundred dollar promotions in which $100 checks were randomly inserted in envelopes throughout the U.S. To date, the promotions have awarded over $158,000 and increased awareness for the envelope and visibility for the money-saving coupons inside.
