TORONTO -- January 30, 2001 -- Paradigm Advanced Technologies, Inc. of Toronto (OTCBB:PRAV), (www.powerloc.com), through its PowerLOC wireless-position-location division, announced it has executed an agreement with Anytrack Solutions Inc. (Anytrack) of Milton, Ontario (www.anytracksolutions.com). The agreement provides for Anytrack to purchase PowerLOCs L-Biz technology and mobile GPS tracking units. The PowerLOC L-Biz client software that Anytrack will acquire will enable Anytracks clients to track and display the position information of the mobiles. This advanced client interface will also provide an advanced ASP fleet management capability that is scalable to thousands of vehicles that are managed on the system by the client via an Internet connection. The Tracker server provides the wireless communications network access as a gateway, between the devices and the client software.

PowerLOC and Anytrack will jointly integrate Anytracks electronic map information, which includes mapping for many countries around the world, with the Tracker. PowerLOC will assist in the negotiation and execution of agreements with wireless carriers and also provide consulting and on-site services to Anytrack.

Anytrack has been involved in the wireless radio, location and tracking businesses for many years and has extensive international contacts in North America, South America, Europe and Asia and is already negotiating the delivery of PowerLOC L-Biz wireless location technology and solutions to several customers in these areas. Anytrack plans to use the PowerLOC L-Biz L-Commerce products to provide a full location tracking solution to its customer base.

On January 16, 2001, Paradigm announced that it has executed a term sheet with NaftEL Technologies, Ltd. of Israel (www.nafteltech.com) to acquire all of NaftELs navigation technology and intellectual property. NaftEL develops and markets navigation system software, enabling detailed street maps to be viewed on devices with limited on-board memory. This advanced technology also provides graphic or voice commands on portable computers, hand held devices and cellular phones to enable dynamic navigation for persons and vehicles.
