Survival of the Fittest: Telecom Professionals Discuss Strategy in Changing Marketplace
(PRWEB) February 16, 2001 - The National Association of Black Telecommunications Professionals, Inc. (NABTP) will return to the DFW Metroplex for the second year and will host its 10th Annual Convention, Survival Strategies for the Next Telecommunications Decade" March 28-April 1, 2001, at the Marriott Quorum Hotel located in Addison, TX.
Were facing an information revolution, and what better place to address these issues than the home of the ‘Telecom Corridor," said Brenda Lowe, NABTP president. During last years conference we surpassed previous attendance and sponsorship records. We feel that the hospitality of Dallasites was a major contributing factor to the success of NABTP 2000."
Based on recent market shifts, competition has increased in the marketplace. It is imperative that individuals are equipped to meet the global opportunities and challenges presented. Sheth, Emory Universitys Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing, will be a featured speaker. Highlights include workshops, a free-to-the-general-public exhibit hall and a free public policy forum.
Eddie Bernice Johnson, United States House of Representative (D-TX) and Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) for the 107th Congress, and Larry Sergeant, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and General Counsel, United States Telecommunications Association are honorary co-chairs of the NABTP conference.
