Crooner Brian Evans launches tour, signs with Baker, Winokur, & Ryder

(LAS VEGAS) Brian Evans, the Las Vegas entertainer who brought back "the crooner," to the city, will begin a tour throughout the United States and Canada.

Evans, who has been likened to a new young Frank Sinatra styled standards singer, had performed close to 400 shows at The Desert Inn on the Las Vegas Strip. He is also the only entertainer in the now closed venue to record a CD "Live at The Desert Inn," which was once the stomping ground to Sinatra.

Last week, the new young crooner appeared nationwide on The Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" and performed on the show live from New York City. He appears on Atlanta's "Good Day Atlanta," on March 5th at 8:00 A.M., an enormously popular morning show in the state of Georgia.

A native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, the entertainer just released a new album entitled, "YOU," (Orchard Distribution/Valley Media). The new CD, featuring original songs wriiten by Evans, has been the subject of a national billboard in Canada, where Evans first gained national attention. The campaign has also hit markets in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Omaha, among other area's. Prior to beginning a music career, Evans acted on such shows as "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Full House," and acted in the film "Book Of Love" (New Line).

Evans is currently in discussions with a Las Vegas hotel for a long run appearance once his tour in complete. He has signed with public relations firm Baker, Winokur, & Ryder for public relations. The singer also is finishing up on a new book to be published later this year.
