ATI Technologies, Intel Corporation and Microsoft Corporation to Deliver Keynote and World Premiere Presentations
Portland, Oregon, February 21, 2001 -- Vision Events, a Gartner Group, Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB) company announced today that ATI Technologies, Intel Corporation, and Microsoft Corporation will address 200 regional market leaders from the U.S. and Canada at System Builder Summit Spring 2001. System Builder Summit takes place March 4-7 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Thomas M. Kilroy, Executive Vice President, Reseller Channel Operations for Intel, will deliver the Welcome Keynote Address, System Builders in the 2001 Economy", on Sunday, March 4 at 7 p.m. to all Summit participants. After years of rapid growth and emerging market opportunities, the industry is entering a new channel paradigm in 2001," said Kilroy. In the Address, Kilroy will discuss how system builders can respond to this complex economic and business environment and what support they should expect from vendor partners to keep their business strong.
Building Your Relationship with Microsoft" a presentation by Rodney E. Clark, Group Sales Manager, OEM Division, Microsoft, will take place Monday, March 5 at 7:30 a.m. The World Premiere presentation will guide system builders in how to work more closely with Microsoft through the Microsoft OEM System Builder Program for the tools, resources and support they need, as well as outline the opportunities for system builders with Microsoft software and hardware, now and in the future. Steve Dallman, Director of the North American Channel for Intel Corporation, will speak to system builders on Building Competitive Advantage Through Intel Products and Programs", on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:00 a.m. Dallman will emphasize the broad Intel product portfolio, while updating system builders on the programs and investments they can expect from Intel this year.
