Texas Attorney and Councilman Publishes Award-Winning Website
Steve Sanderfer, a Dallas attorney and Lancaster, Texas city councilman, has recently published a website featuring his song lyrics and poetry, including Christian lyrics and poems. His site won several awards in just its first week online, including the prestigious Top Site Award from ChristSites.Com with a 4-star rating, and The World's Best Christian Websites Silver Cross Award from Christian Web Services.
"I am truly amazed at the big response that the website has received," said Sanderfer. "I never expected it to receive so much attention, and in such a short time." The website is located at http://www.texaspoet.f2s.com. It is rated as appropriate for all ages through the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA) and carries the Family-Friendly Site Award from www.virtuocity.com.
Steve has been writing lyrics and poetry since he was nine years old, and put himself through college and law school by singing in nightclubs and delivering singing telegrams. Although he primarily writes for his own personal enjoyment, Steve has done corporate commissioned work as a professional poet and has lyrics and music that are for sale.
There are over 100 song titles and poems on the site, and Steve continues to update it regularly. Song lyrics and poems on his site include such titles as Enter My Heart, Quiet Love, and Siempre. Some of the Christian songs published on the site are Made A Believer Out Of Me, It's A Long Way From Your Head To Your Heart, and Part Of The Plan. Christian poems include My Strength and What Will You Say.
The webmaster for the site is a friend that Steve met online after she read some of his work that he posted in a forum for internet spades players. "I had always dreamed of sharing my work with everyone on the Internet," said Steve. "I am so grateful to my webmaster for helping me make my dream come true. Maybe someday I will even get to meet her."
