Dimensional Media Associates, Inc., pioneer in 3-D "holographic" type display technology (aka. HDVD®.), is leading the pack with the next wave in POP display marketing.
Dimensional Media™ is the maker of virtual, interactive 3-D systems that Lancome will be using for the launch of their new scent Miracle at Macy's on 34th Street in Manhattan. Using six of Dimensional Media's™ M-360 systems, Lancome will display bottles of the new fragrance as floating virtual images.
The M-360 system projects a life-like 3-D image of the new scent floating in the air. The bottle is viewable from a 360-viewing angle. This compelling display challenges all who walk into the 34th street store to ask the question: "How do they do that?".
In the past, Dimensional Media's™ 3-D technology has been featured at educational and corporate locations such as the Smithsonian in Washington D.C and the Hugo Boss showroom in Manhattan. Fortunately, due to cost reduction and recent improvements in mass production techniques, this 3-D technology is becoming more and more accessible in the consumer market.
