In a move sure to take the streaming audio industry by surprise
Give it Audios CEO - Rick Trono says, Let the customers have the audio files."
Give it Audio surprises the steaming audio industry. Mr. Trono made the following announcement last Thursday Give it Audio will offer its customers beginning in April the option to purchase their streaming audio files - therefore eliminating the monthly streaming fees."
How will this move by Give it Audio affect the industry?
Customarily, companies that provide streaming audio services to websites and web portals host and maintain the audio files on their servers. These companies create revenue by charging their customers a monthly fee based on the number of streams. A small business website hosting fee is always changing based on traffic" Give it Audio believes a company would like to control costs whenever and wherever possible. As for a high traffic site the per stream fee" is particularly costly.
Give it Audio is on a mission to create an "Audio Awareness" by making the Internet aware of the potential of streaming audio.
The state of the audio industry as reported by Benjamin M. Elstein of the Aberdeen Group Inc.
Streaming audio has the potential to help online retailers with their most pressing challenge: converting would-be buyers into repeat purchasers. However, until now seamlessly integrated dynamic – and functional – sound strangely has been absent from e-Commerce deployments."
Rick Trono, CEO - Give it Audio The technology is available and now, easily affordable for all businesses including home based businesses, streaming audio should be on 90% of the websites on the Internet".
