Making the world greener for children.
Newton native, Judith Gorgone, created Planetpals adorable characters as a tool
to teach children to love and care for earth in a fun way. Planetpals Earthzone website does
just that through creative activities, crafts, games, earth science facts, ecology tips and tricks
and a monthly Ezine.
Stop by Planetpals Earthzone and meet the characters each with their own rhyme.
They teach children to love their world by learning more about it. With informative sections such as earth facts, the food chain and the wonders of the world they learn to respect it.
Planetpals helps promote and encourage environmental awareness and responsibility and gives pro active solutions with unique activities such as recycle kits, stickers, finger puppets
and online games, all exclusive to Planetals.
Planetpals is now one of the most highly visited sites for teachers, children and earth related organizations with an average of 1,000,000 hits per month. It is the recipient of numerous awards and highly endorsed by educational and
environmental portals such as Lightspan's Study Web, USA today Copernicus Educational Gateway, and The Exploratorium. It has been written up in CNN, Msnbc, and Earth Times as a place to be for earthday and everyday.
Planetpals characters have traveled beyond Earthzone were they participate in many live Earthday celebrations throughout the world. Schools and organizations use
activities as part of earth and earth day awareness. For Earth Day 2000, in Henderson, Nevada...Planetpals Website and Greatest Earth Day Pages were made accessible to earthday attendees, Planetpals recycle
kits and coloring pages were passed out, and life-size Planetpal figures guided them through events. It was such a hit, Planetpals will be featured again this year. This is just one of the many celebrations Planetpals gets involved to educate and inspire kids.
But, don't let it fool you, Planetpals is not just for kids! Planetpals is a valuable source of fact and fun for every age. Everyone enjoys it's inviting and educational world earth information to dazzle all of us.
