Dielectric completes acquisition of TCI International, Inc.
RAYMOND, ME—March 23, 2001— Dielectric Communications, a unit of SPX Corporation, today announced it has completed the acquisition of TCI International, Inc. The transaction was approved by the TCI shareholders on March 20, 2001.
Dielectrics acquisition of TCI further broadens its range of product offerings to broadcasters worldwide for TV and FM products, and in the High Frequency and Medium Frequency spectrum. The addition of TCI also brings Dielectric into the field of signal processing, which includes spectrum monitoring and management, direction finding, signal collection and specialized products for military and communications intelligence customers.
Lewis M. Kling, President of Dielectric Communications welcomed TCI stating, "We are pleased to add TCI to the Dielectric family.
