Network Technologies Inc Expands USB & FireWireŽ Product Line USB KVM Switches Allow All USB-enabled PCs, Macs & Suns to Boot Simultaneously - Connect Multiple Peripherals to USB & FireWire Port

Network Technologies Inc today announced the immediate availability of its new line of USB & FireWire hubs, cables, adapters and gender changers. Universal Serial Bus (USB) KVM switches deliver breakthrough KVM technology. Unique in the industry, these switches provide true electronic USB KVM switching, enabling all attached USB-enabled PC, Mac & Sun computers to boot simultaneously.

AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc today announced the immediate availability of its new line of USB & FireWire hubs, cables, adapters and gender changers.

NTI's USB-compatible product line includes:

- Universal Serial Bus (USB) KVM switches deliver breakthrough KVM technology. Unique in the industry, these switches provide true electronic USB KVM switching, enabling all attached USB-enabled PC, Mac & Sun computers to boot simultaneously. Mac Power-on is supported. The KEEMUX-USBV-x Universal USB KVM Switch allows one user to control up to 32 USB-enabled computers. This switch can be integrated with other NTI KVM switches, giving administrators the ability to control both their existing hardware and future additions to their network with one KVM solution.

- USB hubs comes in 5 dazzling colors (Strawberry, Grape, Blueberry, Lime and Tangerine) which are exactly compatible with the new iMac models. Priced at $50, the hubs are 100 times faster than standard serial ports. Compatible with a wide variety of USB peripheral devices, the USB hub connects up to 127 USB peripheral devices to your computer.

- USB cables include USB A (male) to B (male) cables ($2.50 - $5.00) available in iMac colors (Strawberry, Grape, Blueberry, Lime and Tangerine) as well as Grey and Transparent; the USB Repeater Cable which extends USB keyboards and mice up to 25 meters ($50); and combination USB & VGA Extension Cables ($14 - $22). A variety of USB adapters and gender changers are also available ($3 each).


NTI's FireWire-compatible product line includes:

- FireWire Repeater Hubs comes in 5 dazzling colors (Strawberry, Grape, Blueberry, Lime and Tangerine) which are exactly compatible with the new iMac models, as well as Grey and Black. Priced at $205, the hubs have six ports to extend FireWire devices from your computer. The IEEE 1394 Repeater has a built-in physical layer chip allowing you to connect one Repeater to another Repeater, for a maximum extension of 236 feet.

- FireWire cable ($16) is available in iMac colors (Strawberry, Grape or Lime) in lengths of 4.5 meters.

- FireWire 1394-6PF4PM adapters are available ($16).
