Moms, Seniors and Serious Shoppers Get Paid to Shop and Eat!
Cathy Stucker has a job to die for. She gets paid to go shopping, eat in restaurants, get her hair done and more. Now, she's sharing insider secrets about how just about anyone can get paid to shop and eat, while helping businesses improve their customer service.
Cathy Stucker has a job to die for. When she goes shopping she increases her bank balance, not her credit card bills. When she eats at her favorite restaurants, the restaurants pay her! How did she get so lucky? Cathy Stucker is a mystery shopper. These "undercover customers" get paid to shop, eat in restaurants, go to the movies, get haircuts, and lots more.
Mystery shoppers provide customer feedback that businesses need and are willing to pay for. They get answers to questions important to the business: Are customers greeted promptly? Can salespersons answer questions knowledgeably? Do order takers suggest additional items? Do cashiers give correct change and say thank you? Are the rest rooms really clean? Mystery shoppers tell businesses what customers think but often don't tell: the good, the bad and the ugly.
Mystery shopping jobs are available anywhere you find malls, chain stores, restaurants, banks and other service businesses. Pay depends on the assignment, but may equal $20, $30 or more per hour. By accepting just a few assignments a week, a part time shopper can earn $300 to $500 a month. Some shoppers earn thousands of dollars a month, and have even quit their "real" jobs to shop full time.
"Almost anyone can be a mystery shopper," says Stucker. "Shoppers may be any age, male or female, employed, self-employed, retired or at-home moms. What they have in common is that they are reliable, observant and able to follow directions. And, of course, they love to shop and eat!"
A mystery shopper has a job others envy. "It's a fun and easy way to make extra money," says Stucker, "and you help the businesses you shop to improve their service."
