LPG Innovations unveils third generation of its multi-access service brokering platform
Finnish mobile software company LPG Innovations today unveiled its multi-access service-brokering platform. LPG sBroker(tm) is targeted for mobile operators and service providers, enabling them to manage dynamically their service portfolio and relay services to different terminals.
LPG sBroker is a device and network independent product. It enhances user experience by presenting users always with functioning services. The platform is based on intelligent agent technology enabling rapid service addition and relaying content to different end devices. The agent structure that is used in managing services reduces integration burden because services do not have to be integrated separately.
LPG sBroker is based on technology introduced in the LPG ServicePortal. The platform includes support for different types of end user devices and new features such as single sign-on, which enables users to access all services with just one login. LPG sBroker also offers advanced profiling tools for customizing services according to user groups, terminal devices and user preferences.
In our view, portals which are accessed from a single type of user device such as a web browser or a WAP phone will be history. Users must be able to access information and services regardless of the device they are using. Business models are changing and new services, portals and devices are introduced to the market. There is a need for a platform that can manage these services and relay content to different end devices.
