STARFORUM MARRIES TECHNOLOGY TO GLAMOUR TO DELIVER UNIQUE PAGEANT EXPERIENCE

June 12, 2001 - Starforum, North Americas premier international talent and modeling industry resource network, today announced the official launch of the Starforum WorldLook 2001 Model Search, an innovative online talent contest that taps into the mass appeal of the Web to deliver a unique pageant experience. Running through to November, the contest will be complemented by various on-location, tie-in events in some of the worlds most glamorous and Web-savvy cities-including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, London, Amsterdam and Milan.

Thanks to its trend-setting use of the Internet as an effective backdrop and marketing tool for its high-fashion, on-location events, the Starforum WorldLook 2001 Model Search is already attracting hundreds of potential future stars. The contest is open to females between the ages of 15 and 28 and no height restrictions have been set. Ten finalists will be selected from each of the three age categories for the final round of judging in New York city this fall. The judging panel will include magazine editors, photographers and casting agents. Contestants will be judged on a broad range of criteria, including vitality, poise, congeniality, photogenic potential, and communication skills.

Commenting on the contest kick-off, Starforum President, Michael Dillon, said: A contestants Starforum experience can begin on the Net or in person with one of our scouting agents. Aspiring models and actors can simply go to our starforum.com Web site and upload their photos or present them at one of our upcoming on-location events. We also accept mailed in entries. The Web-empowered element of our contest makes this a very hip, very appealing and accessible competition for young females all over the world." Dillon continued: "Whats so exciting about these talent searches is the unprecedented opportunity it offers industry professionals to gain access to hundreds of undiscovered faces around the globe. For the young women seeking to break into an increasingly tough market, its a chance to meet the people who can help fulfill their dreams."
