HooWooNetwork: Strength in Numbers
New Web Site Network Seeks Home-Based Workers to Pool Talent, Energy
BECKET, Massachusetts (June 19, 2001) – Theyre working from computers set up in a corner of the family room, from back bedrooms or garages converted into office space as they juggle order fulfillment, play dates and laundry. Theyre up before the crack of dawn trying to squeeze in some work before the day gets hectic, and theyre staring into computer monitors long after the kids are in bed for the night. Theyre work-at-home parents, and their numbers are growing by the day. Now, thanks to HooWooNetwork.nets one for all and all for one" philosophy, these home-based workers have a better shot at success.
After working hard day in and day out to get my businesses up and running, and after joining several e-mail discussion groups for work-at-home parents, I realized there were many other work-at-home moms and dads working just as hard but not really getting ahead," explained Rhonda Gregory, founder of HooWooNetwork.net. I decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and stop trying to make it big by ourselves." Gregory set about creating a way for home-based workers to band together in a way that would create business success for all, and HooWooNetwork was born.
Our goal here at HooWooNetwork is to provide a whole network packed with high quality products, information and services that are either free or low cost," Gregory said. Weve weeded out the useless sites, sites with popup windows, and sites that are no longer maintained to offer only the best of the Internet."
To that end, several hundred people are currently needed to participate in HooWooNetwork as site managers. HooWooNetwork will provide site managers with free domain names and Web hosting, along with a host of other benefits. Each site manager will be responsible for creating a site and building a Web community in his or her specific area of interest or expertise.
HooWooNetwork partner sites are needed as well. To be considered, a site must offer content, resources, products or services of use to network visitors in exchange for free advertising throughout the HooWooNetwork.
Opportunities also exist within the HooWooNetwork for writers, Web designers, photographers and artists. Creative contributors will provide their materials for free, or low cost, to site visitors in exchange for exposure across the network. Contributors will keep all rights to their work.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to be involved in the Internets premiere network of top-quality sites offering free or low-cost products, information and services," Gregory said.
Those interested in becoming part of the HooWooNetwork should visit the site at http://hoowoonetwork.net or contact Gregory by e-mail at admin@hoowoonetwork.com or by telephone, (413) 623-5551 or toll-free at 1-888-295-6054
