SCARLETS LEAD THE FIELD WITH NEW TICKETING SYSTEM

Using Data Factors system, Llanelli will build a database of all customers and improve its ticketing and marketing to regular supporters. The club will also use the online ticketing service, through secure links across the Internet.

Llanelli Rugby Club have joined the ranks of premier sports clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Ipswich Town, with the installation of a new state-of-the-art ticketing system.

Scarlets fans could book tickets today for the clubs Pool 5 Heineken Cup clincher with reigning champions Leicester, at Stradey Park on December 5th, or book a seat for any Celtic/Welsh Scottish league clash which appeals, as soon as fixtures are confirmed.
All it takes is a phone call to the new ticket hotline on 0871 871 8088 and supporters need never miss out on a big match, in a season which will see the Scarlets test themselves against the best clubs in Europe.

Data Factors, who are providing the service for Llanelli, perform a similar function for a number of Premiership football clubs and to the likes of English Rugbys Saracens and NEC Harlequins as well as other major sports clubs around the country.

But the Scarlets are the first club in Wales to adopt the new mega-efficient system, which will also facilitate increasingly proactive marketing and leave the club with a database capable of reaching world-wide audiences.
Ross Davies, commercial manager at Llanelli intends to use the system to improve the clubs customer service and marketing.
