Bigelow to Head Larex Research and Development

Dr. Sandy Bigelow has been named Vice President of Research and Development at Larex, Inc. Dr. Bigelow, who previously served as Director of Regulatory Affairs at Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories, has accepted the newly created position within Larex, Inc. In addition to regulatory affairs, Dr. Bigelows responsibilities include product and process development, clinical affairs, intellectual property, and quality assurance.

Dr. Bigelow has over 20 years of experience in the food and pharmaceutical industries in major organizations such as the National Institutes of Health, the National Academy of Science, and Pfizers Food Science Division. Dr. Bigelow has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, a Master of Science in Molecular Biology, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Toxicology from The American University in Washington D.C. Dr. Bigelow is also a member of the Institute of Food Technologists, International Society of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology and Society of Toxicology.
