SEE Travel, Internet travel portal and reservation system makes it easy to find and reserve accommodation on the Adriatic Sea

SEE Travel (www.see-travel.net), an Internet travel portal for Southeast Europe, first saw the light of cyberspace two months ago. Developed by Gideon Tours Ltd., SEE Travel was quickly established as the most comprehensive regional tourist portal, and since this week, the only one in the region with an "instant confirmation" reservation service, which greatly simplifies hotel booking for business and leisure travelers.

Developed by Gideon Tours Ltd., SEE Travel was quickly established as the most comprehensive regional tourist portal, and since this week, the only one in the region with an "instant confirmation" reservation service, which greatly simplifies hotel booking for business and leisure travelers.

SEE Travel presents the natural and cultural beauty of Croatia and neighboring countries (Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro) using 3D panoramic photos, interactive maps and a complete inventory of facilities such as marinas, restaurants, discos, as well as historical and cultural sights. The portal also offers news and information, such as updates about hotel and cafe openings, cultural events, service information and other information of interest to travelers. SEE Travel covers over 430 towns along the Adriatic Sea, stretching from Trieste, Italy to Kotor, Montenegro, focusing on the cities of Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik, as well as the Croatian islands.

Additional services, such as the introduction of an on-line last minute" reservation solution, call center, WAP and SMS marketing services, as well as GDS system setup for larger hotels, will be available this summer for use by international travelers.

Gideon Tours Ltd. is a company funded by a private group of American and Croatian investors, which combines a top-quality Croatian Internet design team with American capital. The management team consists of experienced group of Internet and business professionals with a solid understanding of the Croatian travel market and tourism industry, and includes American and Croatian staff. Its business partners include various software companies, GDS providers, over a dozen hotels and hotel management companies as well as hundreds of owners of private accommodations on the Adriatic coast. The company is currently in negotiations with Ericsson Croatia and Iskon, the second largest Croatian ISP, based on mutual interest to promote additional travel services using new technologies.

Formal partnership was also established with the University of Practical Sciences in Split, whose professors and students actively participate in the development of the portal within an internship program, developed especially for students of computer and tourism degree programs.
