Los Angeles, CA - June 23, 2001.
Cherry Suede, striking a distinctive middle ground between the raw,self-assured swagger of rock and roll to the more refined sheen of the pop world, have quickly captured the four top Pop/Rock spots on MP3.com's LA chart in record time.
Cherry Suede, fronted by two Randy's -- Randy Scott on lead vocals and Randy Young on guitar/vocals, are joined on stage by bass player Eric Holden -- and Randy Guss, who was the drummer for the multi-platinum band "Toad the Wet Sprocket".
Cherry Suede, who have been compared to Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Barenaked Ladies, Rod
Stewart, and Bryan Adams, are performing their catchy original tunes, which are a combination of
pop-upbeat rock to soft rock ballads, all over the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara area.
Cherry Suede band members are currently hard at work on their debut album, and planning a tour of the US and Canada this fall.
