The company announced a complete line of products to measure angle of attack, sideslip, static pressure, and total head pressure in flight-test environments. Applications include a broad range of flightcraft including military fighter, attack, and cargo aircraft; commercial aircraft; trainers; drones/RPVs/UAVs; helicopters; racing aircraft; and general aviation aircraft.
The air data product line includes 4 products:
Mini Air Data Boom (100400) - miniature size for drone, RPV, and light aircraft use
Straight-Nose Air Data Boom (100600/100700) - full size for a broad range of commercial, military, and research aircraft
Swivel-Head Air Data Boom (100510) - similar to the Straight-Nose Air Data Boom except static and total head pressures are obtained from a gimbal-mounted, weather-vane nose that swivels 21° in any direction. Gives pressure readings at pitch or yaw values of 30° or less and air speeds of 25 to 200 knots with ±0.5% accuracy. Particularly useful for helicopter and VSTOL airaft.
Trailing Bomb (100800) - Gives propwash and related air data for helicopters, STOL, and VTOL aircraft.
All products are constructed from machined aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. All air data booms incorporate angle-of-attack and sideslip vanes and static and total head pressure pickups.
