SEMI announces Semiconductor Industry Study Results using eClipsNow! Webcast

REDWOOD CITY, CA - JULY 10, 2001 - eClipsNow!, a provider of quality webcast solutions, announced it has been selected by the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Industry (SEMI), to host its live webcast on Tuesday, July 10 at 8:30 AM (PST), to discuss the findings of its global eBusiness study, developed in association with Anderson LLC (formerly Arthur Anderson).

The study examines how semiconductor equipment companies are using the Internet to support a variety of business functions and the challenges and solutions they face for the future. Information for this global study was gathered through a series of interviews and from workshops held in San Jose and Tokyo. Interviews were conducted in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, Korea, and Singapore

In addition to the study results, panel members will provide real-world examples of eBusiness strategies in place, as well as the challenges and proven solutions specific to the semiconductor industry. SEMI will use the information and results from this study and information from another detailed study - in conjunction with the University of California Berkeley - to guide the development of eBusiness strategies in support of their membership and the global semiconductor capital equipment and materials industry.
