New Orleans playwright Marc Ellis, is set to have his play "A MAN OF HIS TIMES", published by
"Exquisite Corpse", in it's upcoming Fall 2001, #10 Issue. This will herald the first time the
avant-garde Internet literary publication, has published a play accompanied by it's own musical score.
In September-October 2001, playwright/composer MARC ELLIS will celebrate the joint
publication of his play, "A MAN OF HIS TIMES", at "Exquisite Corpse", with the unveiling
of its' complete musical score at his mp3.com home station - PONT MIRABEAU.

"A Man of His Times" was inspired by a painting by Giorgio De Chirico, (1888-1978).

PONT MIRABEAU consists of composers Marc Ellis & Peter Streit, and several well-known
session artists. They've been called the most versatile ensemble at MP3.COM. Their
music bridges the worlds of classical & film music, Euro-pop, Broadway, mellow Jazz
and even Surf Rock and Chinese Lunar New Year Parade music.

The online text of the play at www.corpse.org, will contain links to the PONT MIRABEAU
site at mp3.com, to enable readers to tune into the musical scoring, as they follow the
characters and scenes. In return, PONT MIRABEAU will musically direct you to link with
the cast, in their surreal quest for theatrical adventure.

Featured music at mp3.com from Ellis' play, " A MAN OF HIS TIMES", in the genres of
Film Music, Musicals/Broadway will include:

1. " A Man of His Times" (Theme). In the words of the artist:

"Kurt Weil gets togetherwith Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone on Holloween.
This is a dance macabre, with children's chorus. It is a Holloween waltz."

2. "Accordion Music for an Execution", which is also called " Chuck's Waltz,
from the original stageplay.

Marc Ellis's radio jingle, "Sunny Side Up in The Morning", is also a highlight of
"A Man of His Times." Ellis records on the "Taliesin's Riddle" Label.

the cultural winds of Internet entertainment. PLEASE plan on attending!
