A media first! "A MAN OF HIS TIMES". Joint theatrical production
between MP3.COM, Andrei Codrescu's Cyber-Mag EXQUISITE CORPSE,
musical ensemble, Pont Mirabeau, and playwright/composer Marc Ellis
New Orleans playwright Marc Ellis, is set to have his play "A MAN OF HIS TIMES",
published by "Exquisite Corpse", in it's upcoming Fall 2001, #10 Issue. This will
herald the first time the avant-garde Internet literary publication, has published
a play accompanied by it's own musical score.

New Orleans playwright Marc Ellis, is set to have his play "A MAN OF HIS TIMES", published by
"Exquisite Corpse", in it's upcoming Fall 2001, #10 Issue. This will herald the first time the
avant-garde Internet literary publication, has published a play accompanied by it's own musical score.
In September-October 2001, playwright/composer MARC ELLIS will celebrate the joint
publication of his play, "A MAN OF HIS TIMES", at "Exquisite Corpse", with the unveiling
of its' complete musical score at his mp3.com home station - PONT MIRABEAU.
"A Man of His Times" was inspired by a painting by Giorgio De Chirico, (1888-1978).
PONT MIRABEAU consists of composers Marc Ellis & Peter Streit, and several well-known
session artists. They've been called the most versatile ensemble at MP3.COM. Their
music bridges the worlds of classical & film music, Euro-pop, Broadway, mellow Jazz
and even Surf Rock and Chinese Lunar New Year Parade music.
The online text of the play at www.corpse.org, will contain links to the PONT MIRABEAU
site at mp3.com, to enable readers to tune into the musical scoring, as they follow the
characters and scenes. In return, PONT MIRABEAU will musically direct you to link with
the cast, in their surreal quest for theatrical adventure.

immigration and family Law.

About PETER STREIT:
Peter Streit lives in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and makes his living importing marble
and granite. Peter's a big fan of jazz, bluegrass, Brazilian, orchestral and traditional
acoustic music. He naturally gravitates toward composing guitar material - plays
mandolin, piano, keyboards and just started playing bass in his church choir. In
addition to PONT MIRABEAU ensemble, Peter is in two performing bands: a jazz
ensemble doing mostly standards from the 30's-50's and an acoustic trio.
His latest tune at PONT MIRABEAU is the old mountain ballad, "Shady Grove."
