EMAZING launches email tips for musicians, managers, promoters & fans

Louisville, Ky. (July 25, 2001) – Working musicians and their managers, promoters and fans can now receive valuable and timely information every day via email, thanks to EMAZING.com.

EMAZING – which emails tips, facts, and news to 12 million subscribers each weekday – recently launched two new topics related to the music business. The first – Online Music Promotion – is aimed at helping musicians in any genre understand how to use the power of the Internet to promote their music and advance their careers. The Online Music Promotion Tip will cover the entire range of Web activities related to musicians – for example, specific how-to" information on creating compelling Websites and promotions to establish their brands, and managing fan email lists. Jonathan Pinky" Gonzales, currently the new business coordinator for the Country Music Association, is writing the tip.

"The launching of this Online Music Promotion Tip of the Day represents a big step in what I've been striving to accomplish for a long time: providing artists with the information they need to expose their music to the world," said Gonzales. EMAZING is a perfect forum to do just that."

The second new music topic – Touring Music Tip of the Day – will cover whats happening with touring bands, as well as music news and information, and excerpts from exclusive interviews. The tip will cover many genres, but will emphasize adult rock, alternative music, and jam bands. Annemarie Jacar is writing the Touring Music Tip of the Day.

Basically, Ill be covering the bands that people wont typically find on MTV or VH-1, with some cross-over with VH-1 artists," said Jacar.

Both tips can be found in the Entertainment section at www.emazing.com. People wishing to subscribe can click on the E" button next to the topic and enter an email address and other basic information. Other EMAZING topics of interest to music lovers include the CD of the Day, Audio Tip of the Day, and Guitar Tip of the Day.
