COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST - SHANE AVERY
COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST - SHANE AVERY. DEBUT ALBUM HONKY TONK A.M. AND HIT
SINGLE RELEASE REEL REDNECK
There is a special something that stars possess. You can't define it,
you can't manufacture it, but when you see it, you know it's right there
in front of you. Such is the case with Shane Avery, an entertainer whose
personality is so infectious, the impact on the audience is impossible to deny.
Shane grew up in the small town of Chillicothe, Ohio and began singing at an
early age. While most kids were playing games, Shane was listening to The Ralph
Emery Show and learning songs by his heroes Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Keith
Whitley and others.
After graduating high school, Shane enlisted in the US Marine Corps. He was
in the first wave of Desert Storm and received the "Navy Commendation Medal
- Combat V" for his part in those early moments of the ground war. It's not
something he talks about much, if you can get him to talk about it at all.
Shane began pursuing his music career in earnest (when he finished his stint
with Uncle Sam) by playing in a popular regional country band that still holds
many attendance records throughout clubs in Ohio.
Shane soon felt the calling of a career in music and began performing his own
songs. Shane spent time in Nashville sitting down with other writers and
performing at various clubs including The Bluebird Cafe.
He recorded 10 songs in Nashville with session players that has evolved into
his debut release on Torch Records. The single: Reel Redneck from his Torch
Records debut "Honky Tonk AM" was first released to radio in July of
2001 and had it's debut on ABC Radio Country Network's "Country
Challenge with Steve Sharp" where it won five days in a row against
artist such as Brooks - n- Dunn , Gary Allan and other country greats.
Shane is managed by Lewis Lyric Management (Jack Lewis and Jason Whitehorn)
and on the Torch Records Label.
Shane has performed with many of country music's finest, most recently Doug
Stone, John Anderson and David Allan Coe performing each time to sell out
crowds.
Shane Avery is grounded in hard work, dedication and family values.
His music is traditional country. His songs you'll want to hear again and
again. His voice is clean and smooth with a delivery you will believe.
