DANIELIAN ASSOCIATES APPOINTS FOUR TO ASSOCIATE LEVEL
John Danielian, Joann Lee-Kim, Brian Miller, Tom Wong
IRVINE, Calif., August 3, 2001 - - Danielian Associates, a leading architecture and land planning firm announced that John Danielian, Joann Lee-Kim, AIA, Brian Miller, AIA and Tom Wong were promoted to associate level. The announcement was made today by Arthur C. Danielian, FAIA, president.
The appointment of these key team members," said Art Danielian, will strengthen our efforts as we move to meet the challenges of an ever-changing marketplace. All four bring expertise in their respective areas that will enable Danielian Associates to maintain its reputation as a leading architectural firm."
Associate status brings a level of responsibility that involves management decisions regarding company policies, business plans and corporate goals toward the long-term success of individuals and the firm.
John Danielian, a graduate of USC, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture, spent a semester studying with USC in Italy. John joined the Danielian team in 1996 and is an associate member of AIA and the USC Architecture Guild. As Project Manager his most recent award-winning project is The Gables" in Ladera, CA, which just won a Grand Award at the Gold Nugget Awards this year.
Brian Miller, AIA, graduated from USCs School of Architecture with honors. He is currently teaching evening architecture classes at OCC. Brian was responsible for lead design work on Ritz Pointe in Monarch Beach, CA, which took a silver award at the Best In American Living Awards earlier this year. Ritz Pointe was designed by Danielian Associates for Capital Pacific Holdings.
Joann, who joined Danielian in 1999, earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Berkeley. She donated many hours designing plans for the Olive Crest Foundations Childrens Ranch. These homes were built to help house at risk children. Olive Crest awarded Danielian Associates with The Ambassador to the Children" award for the overwhelming success of this project in Riverside County.
Tom Wong graduated from California Polytechnic State University of Pomona in 1992, receiving his Bachelor of Architecture. He spent a summer studying in Greece through Cal Poly and interned the following summer at a design firm in Switzerland. Tom is a member of AIA and joined Danielian Associates in 1997. Toms design work on the Traditions for MBK Homes in Murietta, CA, finaled at the Laurel Awards this past April.
