Silver Anniversary Conference Focuses on Emerging Technologies & Practice Management
The Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC) will celebrate its 25th Anniversary Fall Conference in Richmond, VA, October 3-6, 2001. STC has served the industry and its membership for 25 years by providing a forum for networking, education, dialog, and professional and personal growth. The conferences theme, Back to the Future," highlights two primary tracks for attendees: emerging technologies and practice management. A trove of high profile speakers and successful consultants will share their knowledge and expertise during the conference:
· Dr. Terry Matthews, Chairman of March Networks and founder of Mitel, will deliver the opening keynote address.
· Noted analyst and consultant, Allan Sulkin, will provide his insights on the evolving IP-PBX market.
· Fred Knight, Publisher & Editor of Business Communications Review, will provide his perspective on some intriguing short-term possibilities for voice, voice/data convergence and the carriers.
· Brad Cleveland, President of the Incoming Call Management Institute, will offer an insightful and challenging look at what consultants and suppliers can do to help organizations build a new generation of services.
· Dick Kuehn, an STC founder and President of RAK Associates, will provide 35 years worth of perspective on the evolving market place.
· Thomas Crowe, President, Law Offices of Thomas K.Crowe, PC, will summarize the pertinent legal and regulatory issues facing consultants and the industry in general.
· Kathleen Peterson, Chief Vision Officer of Powerhouse Consulting, will deliver the locknote address sharing her humor, knowledge, and experience with call centers and life in general.
Both of the conferences tracks feature relevant and timely sessions. Members of STCs Vendor Advisory Council (VAC), some of which include Alcatel, Benchmark Portal, Cintech, Cisco, Intecom, NEC, Nortel, and Rockwell Electronic Commerce, will discuss emerging technologies and ways to apply them. Consultant attendees will benefit from the Practice Management track that has sessions on project management, business development, proposal preparation, and call center audit certification.
