Cool Info 2001 adds a variety of software auditing tools, more system information, enhanced control over remote clients and new export formats, including XML. Designed to work with all Windows Operating systems Cool Info 2001 maintains its trend of stability, ease of use with information that users, accountants and system administrators want to see.

The software auditing feature includes several methods for determining what each system has installed. This includes customized background file scans, shell extension detection, and special filtering of the Add/Remove programs list.

Updated and expanded exporting capabilities allow an administrator to export an entire network to a centralized data store.

Other new features include hard disk physical and logical serial number detection, hard disk speed, CPU cache detection, full system device resource usage, video memory detection and BIOS detection, new network information, environment variables, communication device detection, sound card detection, internet connection information, expanded printer details and more.
